Well.....what a journey!!! We have finally all made it to beautiful Perth and have settled into Ascot Race Course nicely!! Got a good little camp set up and the new mattress in our swag is heaven!! Jono and Nev arrived last night about 9pm after leaving Broken Hill early Monday morning! Poor buggers! I arrived about 5pm yesterday arvo after hopping on 3 planes to get here!! Normally it only takes 2 planes from the Hill but the first plane we got on in Adelaide to head to Perth had some hydraulic problem and we wouldn't be able to land.....so i am pretty pleased that they put us on another one!! Not sure the tiny life jacket would've been enough to save me out over the ocean from a million feet in the air!!
We all slept well last night....was very cold but toasty in bed!! Nev could no longer stand the smell of himself and had his first shower for the week last night!!....unfortunately Jono's sinuses aren't so good and he thought he smelt "fine" so didn't shower until this morning!! Thank god i was too tired to worry!!
Kerry and Naomi are getting excited and a bit nervous and ready to race! Deb has been looking after everyone like kings and queens and had the sewing kit out this morning making Naomi's and Kerry's race suits all pretty!! The weather is awesome and today is a nice quiet day! I think it's going to take some time to get used to the time difference! The Nissan and all particulars, including "KT" and "Tiddles", passed scrutineering which was great!! Apparently only the 2nd car to pass today!! I think there will be some busy people today sorting out cars by the sound of it!! Naomi has been busy cleaning car windows and putting stickers on so the car is all pretty and i think it's just missing a bit of bling and then it will be perfect!! WIll see what we can come up with! It's a real shame that Deb and I aren't allowed to touch the car and help clean it, etc as we are only "support crew".....bugger!! We will have to get our pom-poms out and shake our bootee's tomorrow as the "supporters"!!
Well....just about time for lunch....Subway today....and then check out what's happening again later on!

I'm looking forward everyday to read what you're going to put next,it's great to hear that you've all finally made it, all you have to do now is make through the rest of the week.
